Chandler & Amanda | Savannah Wedding

Phew, I am SO excited to share this absolutely stunning and thoughtful destination wedding. Amanda wrote me many many months back and was trying to plan her wedding, she even asked me advice on where to have their ceremony. Long story short, she ended up taking my suggestion and getting married at the Wormsloe Plantation in Savannah, Georgia! It was so humbling to be trusted so much and to have an impact even on where their wedding would be.

Amanda & Chandler had a small and incredibly intimate family affair in Savannah. They held the ceremony at Wormsloe Historic Site and their reception at the Olde Pink House! I loved the way they thought through every step of their day and kept some things traditional and other things unique to them. For example, forgoing a first look, they wrote and gave notes to each other right before the ceremony. Then, during the ceremony they had every guest come up to lay hands and pray over them. In that place, with everyone they love standing close around them, they had their first kiss. Then!! After a petal toss back down the aisle, the guitarist strummed their favorite song and they danced their first dance right there in front of their family and dearest friends. All of these moments were just so stunning and unique. It was a total dream to witness their love and play a role in telling their love story. Take a look! And a special thanks to my dear friend Jesse from Dreamtown Co for second shooting and assisting during this weekend!

Amanda and Chandler - thank you for giving me the tremendous honor of playing a role in telling your beautiful story. I am so excited for all the love and goodness that's ahead for y'all and I'm praying so many blessings over you guys!
