Laura & Aaron in Malibu

Today seems like as good a day as any to unleash all this magical malibu love to the world. Laura & Aaron are dear dear DEAR friends of mine and we spent one very whimsical afternoon climbing all over this soCal cliffside to get some unreasonably epic engagement photos. I must confess that I wore Birkenstocks on this adventure which proved to be poor foresight on my part, but it sure made for some funny behind the scenes photos of me straddling cliffy heights in birks. I love photo adventures with friends because there is just a lot of room for exploration and trial and error. I'm so grateful to A&L for braving the cold wind and the treacherous journey, these two are 100% committed to the photo. Needless to say, these guys are real life super models so my job was kind of silly easy...

I love this next frame, of the two of them, hand in hand, black and white, faceless and yet known. I feel like this is my little prophetic photograph contribution to this marriage journey of theirs. Laura and Aaron, your faces will change as you grow and mold into the Christlike version of yourselves. The steps of the journey are uncertain and yet the destination (glory) is clear. You don't go it alone, but together, hand in hand, hearts wide open to the world. I can't wait to watch as Jesus paints color all over your marriage and your hearts. Be blessed, you go forth in power and anointing to be better, stronger, more glorious together than you could ever be apart. Because the Kingdom of God is within you, you cannot fail at this.
